Introduction
Helpers and Hands enjoy a great degree of autonomy while operating their businesses through the Taskrabbit Delivery Platform, including the ability to accept or reject Tasks for any reason. Taskrabbit Delivery does not require Helpers and Hands to accept particular Tasks, nor does it penalize Helpers and Hands for rejecting Tasks.
As explained in the Terms of Service, once Helpers and Hands accept a Task they form a legally binding contract with their Customer, a Service Agreement, to perform that Task. A “relist” occurs when a Helper or Hand rejects a Service Agreement after agreeing to it with their customer; in these cases, the Helper or Hand relists the Task.
This article explains how to relist a Task.
How to Relist a Task
As a common courtesy, we recommend messaging your customer prior to relisting any Task. Consider explaining to them that you are no longer able to complete the Task and will send it back to Taskrabbit Delivery to solicit a replacement Helper/Hand. To relist a Task:
Step 1: Access the Helper app.
Step 2: Locate the Schedule tab and select the task you want to relist.
Step 3: Click on the ellipsis menu (three dots) in the upper right.
Step 4: Select Relist this Task.
Step 5: Choose a reason as to why you are relisting the task.
Relist Consequences
All Taskrabbit Delivery Users agree in the Terms of Service to fulfill the commitments they make to other Users. The Taskrabbit Delivery Cancellation Policy outlines the consequences for Customers who reject Service Agreements. For Helpers and Hands, the following relist policy applies:
Helpers and Hands are free to relist Tasks without consequence until 168 hours (seven days) prior to the scheduled Task.
Relists made with less than 168 hours (seven days) before the scheduled Task incur the following consequences:

Appeals can be made by replying directly to the notice email or by submitting an appeal request.
Potential Relist Scenarios
Update to a Task: One-Hour Grace Period
If a customer makes an edit or update to a task, scheduled Helpers & Hands will be notified and have one-hour to relist the task without incurring a relist penalty or fee if unable to adhere to the changes.
- The scheduled Helper & Hand will receive a notification in the Helper app and / or an email with details of the changes.
- If a customer makes an update to the task outside of business hours (8pm-8am local time), the one-hour grace period begins at the start of the next day's business hours
- Example: If a Customer makes an edit at 9pm on Sunday night, the one-hour grace period for relisting starts Monday morning at 8am and ends at 9am.
Issues After Arriving at the Customer's Location
If a Helper or Hand is at a task location and needs assistance, reach out to Taskrabbit Delivery Support before relisting to provide additional details.
Relisting a Partner Route: Select Markets
Routes or routed deliveries consist of multiple tasks usually booked through a retail Partner. These tasks will include multiple individual tasks for several customers.
If a task is relisted for a route, the entire route's tasks will be relisted, and Helpers will incur penalties based on the total number of tasks within the route.
What happens when the other scheduled Helper or Hand relists the Task?
Certain Taskrabbit Delivery tasks involve multiple Helpers/Hands. When a scheduled Helper or Hand relists, the entire Task is relisted. The Relist Consequences policy only applies to the Helper or Hand who initiated the relist.
