Introduction
The Taskrabbit Delivery Platform enables Customers to book a variety of delivery and moving tasks. As part of the booking process, Customers are able to specify vehicle types for their tasks, such as certain pickup trucks, cargo vans, box trucks, and SUVs with trailers. Helpers are free to perform tasks using one or more of these vehicles, as detailed in this article.
Vehicles Customers Can Book
Vehicle Types
Customers are able to select from a range of vehicles during the booking process, including:
- Pickup Trucks
- Cargo Vans (not passenger vans)
- Box Trucks (no minimum size)
- SUVS with an enclosed trailer. Note: Trailers should have at least 2-foot-tall rails or barriers on all sides. No flatbed trailers.
Multiple Vehicles
Helpers are free to register to perform Tasks with multiple vehicles. Select one vehicle when signing up, and additional vehicles can be added through the Helper app once your account is created.
No Commercial Vehicles
As explained in the Terms of Service, Commercial Motor Vehicles (as defined by applicable law) may not be used during the performed of Tasks. Commercial Motor Vehicles include any vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating or gross combination vehicle weight in excess of 10,001 pounds or more.
Vehicles used on Tasks should also be manufactured in 2006 or later, be in good condition, and free of rust, damage, or graffiti. Rental vehicles, rental trailers, and vehicles covered by rental insurance are not permitted.
Adding a Vehicle
During registration, Helpers will be asked to add a vehicle to their account. As part of this process, they will be prompted to add photos of their vehicle. Helpers will also be prompted to add photos if they subsequently add other vehicles. Below are tips for submitting clear vehicle photos:
- Comprehensive View
- Photos should clearly show the entire vehicle, from the front to the back.
- A side view angle is recommended for the best representation.
- Lighting
- All photos should be taken in daylight to ensure clarity and accuracy.
