Taskrabbit Delivery Price

The cost of each task depends on a number of factors, including:

• The items being moved.
• Where items are being delivered.
• The number of Helpers requested.
• The vehicle type requested.
• When the task is booked.

Accepted Payment Methods

While Taskrabbit Delivery is unable to accept cash, Taskrabbit Delivery is able to accept payment through the following methods, which can be set up in your Taskrabbit Delivery account:

• Credit or Debit Card
• PayPal
• Apple Pay
• Venmo (via booking in the Taskrabbit App only)

Please note that Taskrabbit Delivery Platform does not enable you to pay in person. Your task will only be charged via the digital payment method connected to your task. If you would like to tip your Helper(s) for a job well done, you can do so through our app or website.

Price Quote Generator

To get a price quote, download the Taskrabbit app or visit book-delivery.taskrabbit.com to get started. You’ll be prompted to tell us what you’re moving, where you’re moving it, and when you’d like it moved. After we receive those key details, you will receive a guaranteed price and will have the option to book your task. 

When will I be charged?

When you submit your task details, Taskrabbit Delivery will place a hold on your card for the amount of the task. This is only a hold, not a charge on your card. This is done to ensure that you can pay for the full amount of the task. The hold on your card is typically removed within 1-3 business days, depending on your bank’s policy.

When the task is completed and you have reviewed your Helpers (or 24 hours after the Helper marks the job complete, whichever comes first), your card will be charged for the full amount of your task. At this time you will receive a receipt of your completed task.

Promo Codes / Discounts

Unfortunately, Taskrabbit Delivery does not have promo codes readily available. 

Tipping Helper(s)

You can tip Helpers on book-delivery.taskrabbit.com, or through the app, which will prompt you to review them (and tip if you'd like) after your task is complete.

Price Changes

If your price changed after your task started, the scope of your task may have been adjusted by your Helpers. This is due to the requirements of the task - things like the items being moved, or the locations of pickup and delivery - changing. You will be asked to confirm these changes.

What is an adjustment?

When your task is in progress, you may receive notice that an adjustment has been made. An adjustment is any change made to the scope of the task (after the task has been started).Examples of adjustments include adding a location, adding an additional item to the task, or adding extra in-home help. You will be asked to confirm these changes.

Facebook Marketplace Purchase Payments

Customers must handle payments directly with Facebook Marketplace sellers. Prior to the Helpers arrival at the pickup location, please ensure that payment has already been arranged.
