Assembly Tasks

Introduction

The Taskrabbit Delivery Platform enables Customers to book Helpers for assembly. In order to provide assembly services through the platform, Helpers and Hands must opt-in by selecting the assembly option in their app profile. 

Assembly can be added as part of Taskrabbit Delivery’s adjustment process. Please see that article for information on how to add assembly to a Task that is already in progress.

Assembly vs. Breakdown

• Assembly Only is intended for new items when ordered from a retail partner (e.g., a new bed frame).
• Breakdown tasks include breaking down an item for moving and reassembly at the drop-off location.
   

Prohibited Tasks

The Taskrabbit Delivery Platform does not enable Customers to book certain assembly tasks. For more information, see the Prohibited Tasks policy.
