Ever wonder what happens behind the scenes the moment a task is booked into our system? Here is a quick, step-by-step look at how our automated network connects tasks with the right Helper, ensuring a smooth fulfillment process.

The Booking & Qualification Filter

The moment a delivery is successfully booked, the system evaluates the specific requirements of the job. To ensure high-quality fulfillment, it filters for qualified Helpers based on three main criteria:

  • Schedule: Availability matching the requested date and time.
  • Vehicle: Possession of the correct vehicle type required for the items.
  • Crew Needs: Ensuring the Helper count matches the physical demands of the delivery.

The Broadcast

Once the system identifies qualified Helpers in the local area, it sends out a targeted broadcast.

  • Preferences Matter: Helpers receive broadcasts that align directly with their set preferences, including mileage range and assembly, if applicable.
  • Notifications: Alerts are pushed instantly via the Helper App. (Note: Helpers must have notifications enabled in their app and device settings to receive these).
  • Transparency: Helpers can see critical details upfront, including date, time, vehicle requirements, and crew needs.

Helper Requests & Team Building

Helpers who want the job will request to be assigned to it. Because some deliveries require more than one set of hands, our system gives Helpers flexible options to scale up the team:

  • Indicate if they will be bringing their own assistant.
  • Request to be paired up with another qualified Helper.
  • Invite a trusted peer from their personal "Favorites" list.

High-Velocity Matching & Assignment

Once the best match is found, the system automatically assigns the eligible Helper(s).

Partnership Reliability:

Our Fulfillment network successfully matches 98% of all partnership jobs. The system works incredibly well when given the proper window to run.

Critical Cancellation & Timing Guidelines for Partners

To keep operations running smoothly, please adhere to the following timeline rules regarding unassigned jobs:

  • Give the System Time to Work: The broadcast and matching process requires up to 120 minutes to properly cycle through local Helpers.
  • Do Not Preemptively Cancel: Partners should never cancel a delivery due to "no helper matched" unless the task is within 1 hour of its scheduled start time. If there are any assignment issues or delays, our dedicated Fulfillment Agents will proactively contact the customer directly via email to manage expectations or reschedule. Let us handle the heavy lifting!
  • The Point of No Return: Please note that our system cannot process any adjustments or actions for jobs cancelled under 45 minutes from the start time.

Handling Edge Cases (The "Relist")

Sometimes plans change, and a Helper needs to be removed from a task. If this happens:

  1. The system triggers a "relist."
  2. The task status instantly reverts back to "Open."
  3. The entire matching and broadcast process repeats automatically to find a replacement as fast as possible.
