Prohibited Tasks Policy

What is a Prohibited Task, and why is it important? 

Taskrabbit Delivery is committed to facilitating a positive experience for all of its Users, and our top priority is helping to ensure User safety and security. Pursuant to this goal, we have adopted this Prohibited Tasks Policy. 

The Taskrabbit Delivery Platform is unavailable for, and Users may not request or perform, tasks involving certain prohibited items or services detailed below (“Prohibited Tasks”). Please contact Taskrabbit Delivery Support if you come across any Prohibited Task.

Prohibited Items

Users may not request or perform tasks through the Taskrabbit Delivery Platform involving:

• Items Over 300lbs - This includes, but is not limited to, hot tubs, vending machines, pianos, pipe organs, grandfather clocks, and industrial appliances;
• Oversized Items - This includes, but is not limited to, any item that does not fit through doors or passageways, even after minor breakdown, as well as any item that requires door removal (such as building or refrigerator door removal);
• Hazardous or Dangerous Items - This includes, but is not limited to, animals/pets, biological/hazardous/food waste, pest infested items (such as bed bugs lice), items in unsanitary conditions, flammable or combustible items (such as liquids, gas), medical equipment (including hospital beds, medical procedure equipment), gas or electric powered vehicles (including lawn mowers, motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs), weapons and firearms; and,
• Controlled or Illegal Substances - This includes, but is not limited to, alcohol, tobacco, and drugs. The Platform also prohibits its users from consuming, or being under the influence of, these substances during the performance of tasks.

Prohibited Services

Users may not request or perform tasks the Taskrabbit Delivery Platform requiring:

• Assembly of appliances, cribs, and trampolines;
• Connecting or disconnecting appliances from gas, water, or electrical connections (including, but not limited to, washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges, and drainage connections);
• Moving items that need to be hoisted over a balcony in order to be moved;
• Removal of door frames and hinges in order to maneuver other items through;,
• Mounting and dismounting TVs, monitors, or shelving; 
• Traveling outside of a singular Taskrabbit Delivery market (i.e., long distance tasks);
• Traveling into different countries during the performance of a Task; and,
• Ridesharing or other peer-to-peer transportation services.
